Old Timers Picnic 2008
We are having our annual “Old Timers Picnic” on Saturday, March 29th, 2008, 12:00 PM to 4:PM (or later), at Hollis Park Tempe. This event is for Tempe P.D./FOP retirees (or those eligible for retirement) and their guests.
Food will be provided by Burnt Biscuit http://www.burntbiscuitcookout.com.
We are catering the event this year and if you haven’t received a flyer or e-mail, contact us for details.
Our election of Officers is complete. We have a new Vice President, Larry Angel. We also would like to thank former V.P. Dave Hubalik for his service. Brother Hubalik continues to be a valuable member of our lodge.
In other news, on Sept.24th,2007, The Arizona State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police, along with Tempe Lodge 11 Fraternal Order of Police has announced its decision to endorse the re-election Hugh Hallman for Tempe Mayor. See Endorsement Letter
It is also time to pay our dues. Our 2008 membership cards have arrived and they will be mailed out soon. Please do not forget to send in your dues and update you contact information.
